Our Little Nepali Project

Oxford is a small committee, relative to many AIESEC ones. Which is why we're trying to found AIESEC in Nepal. Other than the empassioned determination of a certain cute blonde, I'm not quite sure how this started, but it seems like the "if you could do anything, what would you do" type culture we tried to create has gone a little insane. In a good way. So, I just thought I'd annouce that our now 5th project is founding AIESEC Nepal, meaning projects for next year:

Address African/Western relations and corruption and inefficiency in Nigerian government
Support entrepreneurship and expansion into South East Asia
Help businesses take advantage of the enlargening of the EU into Eastern Europe
Send people to teach English in Vanuatu
Found AIESEC Nepal

Possible project proposals with Medicine Sans Frontier and Oxfam to come. It's going to be a heck of a year...

  • Hi,

I'm a member of AIESEC VUB (Belgium) and we we're toying with the idea of starting up AIESEC in Nepal. What happened with your plan to do the same? Any results? Could you email me at bewouter@vub.ac.be? Thx!
